I can't stress enough how fun it was to hear these songs performed with no drums or bass! Bob is amazing.

it's always great to when a performer captivates an audience without stage trickery or a bad ass bass players.

Also always nice to be reminded how ridiculously amazing Husker Du were!

It was 80 degrees in DC yesterday. Today it's been in the 50s though it is finally slipping into the 40s in my area right now

I think when we begin to drive is when some of our love of winter weather wanes.

could be worse, i guess. My coworker in Minneapolis sent a pic of their 18 inches of snow (measured in Hamm's cans) and something well below zero temps

Philly folks are just as bad, which doesn't make sense since we normally have a couple good storms most winters. People are always in such a hurry.

And the folks in charge alwaysa love the opportunity to get in front of the cameras and show that all is in hand.

And I love zoning out all day watching the weather channel during snowstorms.

Saw you played Husker Du earlier (when I couldn't listen). At Christmas, went to a record shop on Passyunk Ave. for some gifts. They were playing Candy APple Gray. Reminded me how good they were and how much I enjoyed them.

I'm going to be drinking Dundalk Calling beer tonight. It's from a Dundalk, Maryland brewery and this particular one riffs on The Clash's "London Calling" album cover ... it's pretty good.
