Hello Wilbo! Happy New Year!
TAndy 12:18:30 PM
Happy new years everyone
Wilbo (host) 12:20:11 PM
Happy New Ears all-around!
Patrick White (1) 12:23:08 PM
Tim Buckley was busted in Philadelphia December 1967 for 50 marijuana cigarettes hidden behind the TV in his Center City Hotel. The Inquirer described him as a Hippie singer.
Wilbo (host) 12:33:08 PM
Buzzy Linhard too
Christine 𓅓 12:43:15 PM
Chiming in to say Happy New 👂🏽👂👂🏼
Wilbo (host) 12:43:55 PM
I can ear you! the same to you!
Christine 𓅓 12:46:52 PM
Jim Gaffigan lol
Brian D 12:47:52 PM
Jim G is great. But mistaken... burrito must have the bean. Must.
Richard from Rocky Hill 12:48:58 PM
@ Wilbo (host) Happy New Year to you & all! "It Goes Back" by David Byrne is a charming hoot! I'd never heard it before. But any Byrne number that works in Laurel & Hardy AND the Werewolf of London, Clark Gable's handsome leer AND King Kong's tender eyes for Fay Wray ... definitely a classic of Americana. Thanks, Wilbo.
Patrick White (1) 12:50:16 PM
If you ever want great Mexican food just go to Pats steaks or Genos…and walk northbound on 9th street
Brian D 12:51:06 PM
My wife has been listening to his audio book for past 15 plus years as a comfort sleep aid. She loves his humor. And also loves his calm cadence and way of speaking about food. Always works. I'd love to meet Jim Gaffigan some day and say "My loves your audio book! She falls asleep to it every night! " Comedians love comments like that
Wilbo (host) 12:53:34 PM
Kind of like his version of "Sleepify"
Brian D 12:53:47 PM
Old Mil. Tab top can. Hate seeing litter anywhere but it is interesting to see the old style top of cans out there. People would make those yards long chains out of the pop tops...
Patrick White (1) 12:55:18 PM
Brian if you ever want to meet Jim Gaffigan he attends Old Saint Patrick’s Church weekly in NYC Little Italy
Brian D 12:57:13 PM
Yeah I'll be rushing right away to a) go to a church and b) bother a celebrity in NYC. Get those breath holding muscles primed ha
Brian D 1:07:28 PM
Buzzy passed away 5 or so years ago
Patrick White (1) 1:09:08 PM
Enjoying the background music today.WILBO program is soundtrack today for a muted Blonde Crazy with James Cagney
Brian D 1:09:16 PM
Oh looks like it was more recent. 2020.
Brian D 1:09:48 PM
Pato played Jimmy Durante today. Seems to go right well
roberto creamero 1:17:35 PM
Can you post the name of that organ player that was on during the set break please?
Wilbo (host) 1:18:27 PM
Durante was the inspiration for XTCs name. It was his pronunciation of "Ecstasy"
Wilbo (host) 1:19:48 PM
RC, it was Charles F. Swank, on his own CFS records.
roberto creamero 1:20:29 PM
Ty!
Patrick White (1) 1:21:13 PM

Cub Koda of Brownsville Station put out a book "Blues for Dummies". Don't know if he knows the various ventriloquist alphabets tho
Brian D 2:07:19 PM
Eleven Goes Between Den Fwelve. Easy way to remember the notes on the lines of the treble clef.
Chesky Bevo 2:12:14 PM
Oh yeah!! FLOYD!!!
Patrick White (1) 2:12:50 PM
Sounds like intro to Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea
Brian D 2:12:57 PM
This is the ringtone I have on my phone. (Floyd Echoes ping piano sound). I love hearing it on radio and having it fool me a bit
TAndy 2:14:31 PM
Oh nice, good ol Floyd
I'm A Soul Mok 2:18:35 PM
gets all Phantom of The Opera
Wilbo (host) 2:19:02 PM
My collection is full of mis-filings. I have this under P for pink, when it really should be under F. I mean, got I've the Dead under D. Then again I have Miles under D.
Brian D 2:20:45 PM
Love when this vamp comes in
Wilbo (host) 2:22:14 PM
Answer the phone BD!
Brian D 2:22:48 PM
Haa haa. P for Pink is correct ha. G for Grateful. D for Miles D.
Chesky Bevo 2:23:43 PM
I think the D for Dead Milkmen is correct.
Brian D 2:23:51 PM
I get phone calls maybe once a week. From 2-3 diff people. Now i suppose i should use this seagulls howling part as a notification sound or alarm sound. That would work
Wilbo (host) 2:24:14 PM
Sabbath is under S. Bill Laswell and Last exit are close enough, they both go under Laswell
Brian D 2:24:22 PM
D for Dead Milkman yup. Or Dead Mokmen
Brian D 2:25:33 PM
Sabbath is under B... do you walk backwards over to the record cabinet? And stand on your head to put them on the turntables?
TAndy 2:25:36 PM
I can't believe this is Floyd
Brian D 2:25:58 PM
Meddle lp. Classic.
I'm A Soul Mok 2:26:27 PM
Brian..there is a new Harold and Maude deluxe version out. looked right up your alley
TAndy 2:26:44 PM
@Brian I reckon one could use one of those sideways turntables... Or a sound burger 😎
Brian D 2:27:23 PM
Assorted Ween and other New Hope, NJ band members would get together and perform Echoes note for note about once a decade.
Brian D 2:28:32 PM
At John and Peter's in recent decades. And there was a recording of one at a fest in Trenton way back when. Did not attend but heard the tape.
DSM 2:28:35 PM
Needed this one today 👍
I'm A Soul Mok 2:28:43 PM
FOD was just at John and Peter's. so ticked I missed that
I'm A Soul Mok 2:29:17 PM
is there a website that collects all bands and their live show dates
DSM 2:30:59 PM
Mok, i think it’s called Google 🤪
Brian D 2:31:42 PM
I have seen some John and Peter's shows pop up on archive dot org. But of course that depends on the band and the taper in question if they uploaded it there etc. Then there is good old etree dot org... big big amount of live torrents there
Brian D 2:32:53 PM
But ya.. "all bands.." is a might large of a population set ha. Google and good use of search tricks is best bet
Brian D 2:34:16 PM
Sheppard Tone! Whoosh
Brian D 2:34:46 PM
As we go up we go down no.. we stay the same
Chesky Bevo 2:35:13 PM

Brownsville Station covered the Balloon Farm? Who knew?
Chesky Bevo 2:39:26 PM
Sorry. My mistake.
TAndy 2:39:37 PM
bandsintown, though usually Googling [band name] [location] [year] works for me. Or finding their Instagram
Brian D 2:39:39 PM
Jambase
I'm A Soul Mok 2:39:45 PM
i am signed up to so many venues email lists...I ignore half of them
I'm A Soul Mok 2:40:19 PM
I'd love one that not only lists stadium tours..but also local wineries. lol
I'm A Soul Mok 2:40:29 PM
am I asking the world?
Bobh 2:40:30 PM
Hadn't heard "Echoes" in at least 25 years and forgot how great it is. Thanks.
Brian D 2:41:10 PM
Ooh not a mistake by any means. Setlist dot fm is a good resource. Fallible like any editable, fan made online creation but definitely good for perusing
Brian D 2:43:24 PM
Jambase dot com Mok. The site includes all genres not just Jam. Tweakable search options like date range, city or state or zip and range of location etc etc
I'm A Soul Mok 2:44:15 PM
thanks everyone for your help. Jambase looks promising
Brian D 2:44:27 PM
Wineries definitely come up on their searches
I'm A Soul Mok 2:44:52 PM
wow who knew these guys existed: Panama Dead: Tribute to New Riders of the Purple Sage
TAndy 2:45:54 PM

Brian D 2:46:18 PM

Wilbo (host) 2:46:22 PM
Hope they're better than Mac Sabbath. They go under M
I'm A Soul Mok 2:49:15 PM
LOL
Brian D 2:49:44 PM
Mok, there's a "new" film realease for Harold and Maude? I know there was a new deluxe soundtrack that came out last year (hard to believe it's "last"year ha)
I'm A Soul Mok 2:50:30 PM

Patrick White (1) 2:51:20 PM
A hit single that inspired a whole movie.Good choice WILBO
Li Maria 2:52:24 PM
Great show, Wilbo--thanks and HNY. My husband and I argue all the time about how to file. he says S for Stones, I say R
Li Maria 2:53:36 PM
He does file Pink Floyd under P tho
Patrick White (1) 2:53:59 PM
The Bakersfield sound actually has a Sirius program .Hosted by Dwight Yoakam. Every other song is a Dwight Yoakam song.
Li Maria 2:54:42 PM
Haha @Patrick
Patrick White (1) 2:55:26 PM
Thanks for great 3 hours WILBO ….and thanks to his fans for indulging my inane ramblings
TAndy 2:55:56 PM

I'm A Soul Mok 2:55:56 PM
any filing system is better then no system
Li Maria 2:56:18 PM
tru dat, Mok
David Shortell 2:56:42 PM
I often confuse Jeannie C. Riley with "Petticoat Junction"'s Jeannine Riley.
DSM 2:57:41 PM
