It was great to revisit that record. The vocals are insanely amazing.

This show = so much of my adolescence and teen years. crawling the local record stores looking for the discord logo cause we knew it was gonna cheap punk tapes and records

Likewise! And that it was going to be good if not great.

I also liked to discover other bands by glean liner notes for thank you's & references.

Another reason why physical records are such a treasure, @Lee!

I remember playing hardcore cassettes for my granddad. He gave it a go! I bet he would have gone to shows with me if he’d lived into my late teenage years. 💜

Hi Jen! This has been an education thank you having little or no knowledge when it comes to the DC scene other than Bad Brains and Black Flag.

He was the best! Wish I’d gotten him on the radio

I can't stay up late enough to go to shows any more. One time when I did, in a small space, myu wife and I both yawned and the keyboardist looked at us and said "you look tired"

@ Jen Redlights (host) Back in the day, I gave my Mom a cassette of "Tony Bennett MTV Unplugged" and told her, if she wanted to be up with what music the kids were loving right now, this is it. She was intrigued by how a singer from her generation became a modern pop star!

I've mused w/a planned retirement community for folks like us, but, I don't think folks like us would want to be in any!
