Eddy Currents are useful for heating and melting conductive materials by induction. But you sometimes need to concentrate them so you only heat the target and not the surroundings.

I had no idea, and now will always think of the band as very melty!

I heard ECSR's "Which Way to Go" one WPRB one day, and that was it. They went on the List. 🇦🇺

Eddy currents are also useful for non-destructive testing of materials. But the band has much better rhythm.

I remember when the couple in Zero Zero ran Black Cat Records. For a few years it was a nice Red Bank alternative to Jack’s Music Shoppe. It closed 11 days before the Attacks. I saw Holly Golightly’s band play in the store. When I spoke of it to Holly a few years ago in Belmar, she didn’t remember. She thought I was talking about the Washington D.C. venue, the Black Cat!

I got this discord collection buried in one of my cd books. gotta revisit

I saw video of Redd Kross playing that Avengers song live. It was from one of the Flipside Video Fanzine cassettes that Vintage Vinyl carried for customers to rent. I didn't understand why they discontinued that great service.

I did see Fake Fruit, and they were SPECTACULAR.

I was so lucky to snag a ticket! It had sold out immediately.

Dry Cleaning was surprisingly super engaging. Guitarist is pretty nuts and fun to watch. But if she had been a jerk, I bet I would have hated it. She was not!

I don’t plan on paying to see Sunday’s Stone Pony Summer Stage show (even though School Drugs are the openers), but I’m sure to hear it when I shop at the Asbury Park Punk Rock Flea Market in Bradley Park. The 5:30 afterparty at the Bond Street Complex features Long Defeats, Mala Vista, Tiki Torture and the great O.C. Rippers.
