@ Christine, I'm pretty sure they are not related. Jason is of Czech descent through his grandfather, who moved to the United States from Austria-Hungary in 1915. George (Jiří Mráz) was born in Czechoslovakia in 1944.

Although Jason Mraz's first concert was Young MC, the rapper known for "Bust a Move".

Seems like a description of how they are related 🧐

I thought I heard Chick Corea earlier, but it was an old 1970''s ARP or something that he played as well. Sounded like his Lenore piece being riffed on. Ears are weird this early.... :)

You may be right, Rofflestomp. Chick Corea certainly was influential, and jazz improvisations like to touch on familiar themes.

That's a good point, and he was very at the top of his game in the 70's. Big influencer for sure back in those days.
