Dan Ruccia (host) 3:26:42 PM
I didn't know dragonflies bit???
richard lyons 3:26:46 PM
Yes! Beth Gibbons!
Richard from Rocky Hill 3:26:53 PM
@ Dan Ruccia (host) Well, the images from the early universe now seen being seen by the Webb telescope also took a bit to reach us ... in fact, as I understand it, quite a bit of bits more! ... so that inspires to light years of patience.
Dan Ruccia (host) 3:27:15 PM
And yes, TAndy, I saw it and will track it down!
richard lyons 3:27:30 PM
Maybe it was a drug sniffing dragonfly
Dan Ruccia (host) 3:27:37 PM
@Carlos: Pretty sure I can find something. And @Brian, I'll get at least one of those!
TAndy 3:28:04 PM
Yeah they can bite! Feels like a quarter of a bee sting

TAndy 3:29:31 PM
Time to walk in time with the beat. Sweating like hell
Dan Ruccia (host) 3:29:44 PM
Thought about pulling out the new 10 minute live version, but then I remembered I only had 2 hours
TAndy 3:33:22 PM
Thanks for the Prince! That turned my walk into a jog for a few minutes. My knees are ready to fly away
Andrew Gruen 3:38:18 PM

Brian D 4:09:29 PM
Kinks still had it in the late 70s early 80s. They were on fire. Working hard touring.
CARLOS RAMONE 4:10:29 PM
@brian..I sing low budget whenever I need to buy a pair of pants
Brian D 4:11:20 PM
I wore out the live lp One For the Road from 1980 and the Give the People What They Want studio lp from 81
TAndy 4:11:23 PM
Walk finally over... Two hours and idk how many miles or kn or whatever but I'm beat
Dan Ruccia (host) 4:11:41 PM
Where were you hiking, TAndy?
Dan Ruccia (host) 4:12:01 PM
And Brian, I'm clearly gonna have to check out that era of the Kinks
Dan Ruccia (host) 4:12:44 PM
Oh, and Brian, your recommendation of the Ethiopiques documentary found it's way to the WPRB staff FB group. I watched it this morning and it's super!
TAndy 4:14:19 PM
Won't say my start/end point (home) but basically walked the entire perimeter of Chambersburg in Trenton then out to Cedar Lane on the border of Trenton and Hamilton then back home
Brian D 4:18:55 PM
Yeah that was a good film. Interesting to hear about Addis Ababa, get the story on the label and learn about those musicians in that core band. Mulatu Astatke only has a brief few seconds mention tho
-ᎷяMΔᏞᏨØИᎢΞNᎢ-💀 4:20:41 PM
KRAFTWERK 💚
Brian D 4:24:00 PM
Saw the Kinks at my first big rock concert in 1982 at the no longer existing JFK Stadium . 5 band all day affair. Ray Davies just jumping around like a madman. Brother Dave ripping it up . Chrissy Hynde came out at end to sing along (Dave gf at time). They were my #1 band then. 13 yrs old. Good time for all the major Brit invasion bands and Beatle solo guys. All had major albums going on 1980 to 1982 era
TAndy 4:24:41 PM
Just checked a map, my walk was 4.3 miles long. Yesterday's was around 4.5 miles.
TAndy 4:26:08 PM
This song rocks btw
Jason Ferraro 4:26:59 PM
This Playlist is hitting the spot
Richard from Rocky Hill 4:29:44 PM
@ TAndy Those are impressive walks, especially in the recent heat & humidity (which would have been a factor in 4 mile-plus walks even if your started out early). Stay hydrated and yougo!
TAndy 4:32:14 PM
I'm on my third bottle's worth of water! Gotta get used to these long walks so I can hopefully get in better shape 😎
