OMG, Al Di Meola. I saw him at the Tower doing just another gig in a tour. Very so, so.

I had a young guitar student when that show was playing originally. spoke almost exclusively like Mork throughout the entire lesson. It made for a long half hour...

Saw DiMeola w/RTF at Alexander Hall in Pton. Amazing show. I think it was the hymn of the seventh galaxy tour

Hi Christine! Yes, it was the best choir experience I've ever had! When we lived in Brooklyn, I used to take voice lessons and sing for the choir at the Brooklyn Conservatory in Park Slope. There was a lot of turn-over in choir directors and they were all really good but my favorite was James D. Jacobs who now hosts a classical music show on (W)GBH in Boston.

@ Wilbo (host) I think you mentioned during mic break that Alec K. Redfearn says his base city of Providence , R.I., is haunted, yes? Well ... could be! Edgar Allen Poe lived there for a short time while courting a local lady. (She eventually refused to marry Poe because he'd not stopped drinking as claimed.) H.P. Lovecraft, the American titan of weird fiction, spent almost his entire life in Providence and is buried there. And there are ample New England-style ghost traditions there.
