I think the Clash had to explain to oversensitive American listeners that that song wasn't so bad. It was nicer than the Exploited's USA song.

On a note completely unrelated to music, Pennsylvania still uses posters about drunk driving from a campaign he did in the '80s

One of the state stores near me has a poster that says "Before I'll ride with a drunk I'll drive myself" in the window

I only do bike trails and west Philly on my cool AF ebike these days, so no more billboards, just skylines these days. Now though, I feel that I am missing out on the new Americana.

The billboards and TV spots are long gone but the Commonwealth never seemed to stop printing the flyers

What kind of e-bike do you have? I got to try the ones from the bikeshare program in NOLA a few months back and I really want to get one

I bought an extra battery that was stolen from Fedex last week. Would have at least doubled my range. Arg!

Ooof that sucks. You can charge the batteries at home with a normal outlet I assume? Guess I hadn't considered that since you dock the bikeshare ones at a charging station

Oh yes, moding will get great results. #0mph is awesome, I am good with 20 on demand and I just bought a freewheel that will give me the 30 MPH. I don't need to go faster than that.

Yeah I really only need it for an assist. I have some nice bike trails around me but more big hills than I'd like. NOLA on the other hand was the easiest biking I've ever done in my life.

Yuppers, we ge to climb hills with ease. It's super cool!
