Ramakali is also in Carnatic music. There is only one composition in this raga: Rama Rama Kalikalusha..The composer is Dikshitar. The raga name ha been cleverly embedded into the lyrics. Very common in Dikshitar compositions

In this case yes. Certainly the treatment will be different. Also, in Hindustani music, this has all the notes of the scale. in Dikshiaar's version of this raga, the ascending scale is not complete

B Rajam Iyer was another baritone. After a concert of his in Germany, a reviewer used to reviewing operas and orchestral concerts was so impressed that he titled his review on Rajam Iyer's baritone voice.
