Øresund Space Collective was formed in Denmark in 2004 as a collective of Danish, Swedish and American musicians doing free form improvised space rock music. The band has evolved into a large changing collective that plays many concerts and festivals. They record all their jams, and offer it up for downloading. Their best jams are issued as CDs. As of 2020, the band has made 34 releases and this includes some limited edition CDs.

I listen to that Zulu s/t lp all the time. Got it on Bandcamp thanks to wprb. "Candela" and "Sana Camaleón" 2 great tracks from that. Peruvian 1970s. Fun singalongs, pianos & synths, percussion. Slightly Psychy folky stuff

Saw Hiromi's Sonicbloom perform at the Peddie School back around when this was released.

DSM i transcribed, paraphrased, morphed that joke into something palatable and prb centric. The real one involved circus folk i think

Saw Laraaji live at what was called Trenton State College in the late 80s. He was up and dancing with the audience.

We were told to bring blankets and pillows! My brother said it was the best sleep he got all month.

This is one hell of a time DJ!

I went to a few gong and percussion concerts with my wife when she was taking classes. Pillows; blankets, mats, comfy chairs (not the comfy chair! No!) were all encouraged. So relaxing. And at times thunderous and energizing!

@ Andy, because of their 'collective' nature, with constantly shifting subsets of musicians, each of their releases will have a different vibe. All space-rock jams, but different flavors.

same weekend as the cave concert, we stumbled upon a free show at Maverick venue (another great venue) in Woodstock. Steve Gorn and Indian musicians, beautiful music. Then a few weeks later i found out that Steve G, Tony Levin Jerry Marotta had realeased a performance from the mine years earlier . All connected. Prb and out there....
