Readie, I gotta tell you that it was a Big Event on Jon Solomon's show when the Secondary mirror tripod snapped into place, cause No Secondary = NO telescope...But it went fine, Tomorrow final Event Primary mirror into place ..,Fingers crosed...

Even if tomorrow goes wrong, we still have about 3/4 of a working telescope...

Yes, Roffle, it counts, for a true toddy, just drip in a little vodka or rum? - but certainly not required!

Yes, I saw the beautiful crescent last night - it is my favorite...though I do love the ful moon... a graceful, delicate crescent is inspiring!

This wonderfully clear sky is a big plus.

Funny story.. I looked outside at my thermometer this morning and it read 20 below zero F !!! The glass tube had slid all the way down and the red bulb was sticking out the bottom!! Ha!

Well I don’t know about you folks but I had a wild week at work, and I’m soooo glad to be chillin here now.

Still just a welcome touch of snow really, nothing oppressive at all.
