If that's true Marcus, then I saw Star Wars at the Eric Theater 15th and Chestnut Street in Philly. One of the 32 theaters.

I can tell you that I saw the movie no more than six weeks later in a theater in the suburbs of DC which was totally not one of the 32 opening theaters

iConJohn, the lines were days to see it because it wasn't playing anywhere. I think I saw it at Willowbrook mall maybe 3 weeks after it opened

My date and I were late so because the theater was not sold out they let us in about 20 minutes late

Was thinking Star Wars but I seriously did not realize how limited the initial release theater was.

So no list of those 32 theaters that showed Star Wars? We saw it late may or early June just before HS graduation.
