Greetings! You know it, inspector:)

Frankie?

Nice!

Yes, hi Travis!

Hola! It's been awhile since I've caught a chat

nice

:)

glad to have ya here

I was just looking for a solution to get to california for one of the shows!

@ Esoterica (host) Great opening play list ~ as always!

aw thx richard;)

:)

Hello Esoterica!

WHAT??? Somebody inside the Saint at that Frankie show had Covid? Lucky I only barely stepped into the doorway for that packed sold-out event. I don't recall if I wore a breathmask.

hey i saw you that night! @david

i met you outside

hi amy lee!

I think my buddy aaron got covid at that show too.

Said he would do it again

Dang. I've been summoned for a task that will take me away from listening for a bit.

ohno amy lee

travis, that is who i was talking to ha

Ha. We saw a show in Albuquerque a couple months later he had to mention it to the band then too

wow it is a story

Fred Lowrey ain't just whistling Dixie on that cover of the William Tell Overture :-D

that is right, richard:)

Snooper!!!!!!!!!

õõ👀

howdy:)

jimbooooo

Hiyo all

hiya

Are you gonna see Slippers at Le Poisson Rouge on November 11?

what up

i do not think i can, david. never been to LPR btw, are you?

howdy andrew!

as much as i love new york, a bigger deal to get there than philly for me

BAM!!!!!!!!!

Who's cookin what

ayyy sup dj esoterica sup chat!

i saw your fellow san diegans rocket from the crypt a few nights ago! john reis is quite the hilarious stage banterer

I remember hearing about that A.P. band Beachwolf. I suppose they expanded their name to enrage MAGAts.

Hi Eso! Listening as I make a Spanish omelet. Enjoying the show--great tunes!

yummmmm! hey jennifer!

oh wow cool, where did you see them, andrew?

i saw them at frantic city in AC a few years back

thanks, jennifer:)

There was a Saint in asbury park? Was it anything like NYC Saint..? I’m traveling through time just catching up…

I went to LPR once, Eso. I believe it's where the Village Gate once stood.

rftc played at irving plaza. man or astroman opened!

Buenas tardes

oh sweet! i got to see man or astro-man in memphis recently. great

buenas, carlos!

hey @LoveTheYogaGuy Idk never went to the NYC Saint. The AP one was super small.

Huge fan of both RFTC and MOAN!!! Unfortunatley haven’t seen either in many years

oh yeah, i am a fan, too

i wish man or astroman would tour a bit more! I hadn't seen them since 2000

The only time I ever went to Irving Plaza was to see MOAM in the 90's. The ticketseller at the box office window took my money without warning me the show was nearly over. I've boycotted that joint since.

MOAM played the Saint once!

Both are the type of bands you can take people who never saw or heard them, and they walk out as fans, asking to borrow your discs

Really liked styro winos!

Time to tune out and see a discount screening of "You Can See Everything" while it still plays at local theaters. I hear it's great but almost 3 hours.

Disco???on friday night the dead milkmen played Funky Town

Sorry Saturday night..outdoor show was put off a night

i heard that! Carlos. Was that at Laurel Hill? Was that Saturday? I mmissed it - bummed

i did get to see the new We Are The Shaggs documentary tho at the Philly Film Fest

Laurel hill was packed, people were dying to get in!!

ha

Lovely - I was just speaking to a client about OMD on Saturday

:)

takes me back

Disco Clone!

lol yes

because why ot

why not

Thx! It's been quite a while since I have heard it

:) sure thing

And now NRBQ! Taking me back to my c. 1980 WHFS days (Bethesda MD alternative radio station)

new single! christmas wish lol

wow, they're still together?

i guess so!

the internet says yes

Discogs is indicating NRBQ songs called "Christmas Wish" were released in 1995 and earlier years. So maybe this is a reissue?

i think the otehr xmas song is a diff title technically no?

Anyhoo, I love Me and the Boys and haven't heard that song for a number of years

https://omnivorerecordings.com/shop/christmas-wish/

Yeah, probably. Obv. on Discogs I can't listen to the song

👍
