I'm inside now after birding. I am about to check to see if/where I should I go to (i.e. any interesting birds anywhere?)

i'm not much of a birder, wish i was though!! your birdingadventures sound cool.

Aw, thx! I see that there is something I could go look for, not even 20 minutes away, but it involves bushwhacking (which I do not like bc of ticks and chiggers) a few hundred feet so I think I'm going to pass. (Orange-crowned Warbler, a rare winter bird around DC)

Hey Robin, great show! I’ve been listening and working on my Halloween costume

@Rob from Maryland, I home Mt, Marcy with friends in NY this summer, and at the ripe there were two Summit Stewards (which is the craziest job I’ve ever heard of) one of whom was 100% there to help birders at the summit. They were both super knowledgeable but it’s literally their job to stand on top the mountain all day to talk to hikers about trail routes and birds.

i just finished up mine!

I’m making a dark purple wizard hat and cape and then I’m just going to wear like a vest and nice clothes with it

Just snapped the only needle I have for the sewing machine though so we’re back to cutting pieces for the cape

I got some olive and cherry wood yesterday I want to make a Gandalf pipe from and I have a staff already
