I saw Marissa a few weeks ago in New York. The best!

She is, indeed

Torche write ripping metal tunes, often short and (to my ears) catchy.

Roomy doomy drone they are not but equally excellent.

That last Czarface Project with DOOM was like an all time hip hop album for me but also it makes me upset about DOOM when I listen to it. I’ve been meaning to get into this new release more, I’ve only listened through it once.

I saw Urgh! A Music War at the Ontario Theatre in DC way back in 1982. On a week night no less. When I lived in Maryland, easily 30 minutes away.

If I listen to czarface in the car, I miss songs on WPRB, Jon!

That's more than fair. Czarface is also my top running playlist artist (I can only seem to run during Jen's show).

Loved that Sonic Liberation Front set. Spring Break March 2026 I had a harrowing travel experience getting a flight out of San Juan when the airport was experiencing a perfect storm of issues and I had to catch a 3 days earlier flight than originally intended, BUT that meant I got to see Kevin Diehl of Sonic Liberation Front with his AIRLFT ensemble for their festival at the Rotunda and all was right with the world again, at least in that room!
