Lies is also the episode that was plagiarized by the screen writer for the movie After Hours. Joe did some great episodes dedicated to the legal events that unfolded over the years after they stole his work. Good film though!

As Joe was quick to point out, the entire movie was not in question... but the setup for the film's story line in the beginning was lifted directly from a segment of this episode Lies (not the Watchman part we heard to day). The writer did actually produce an original work for the bulk of the film. So filed under complicated but... it all worked out somewhat. I think the writer became severely troubled over the whole thing. Mentally etc...

Griffin Dunne from American Werewolf in London, Rosanna Arquette , Teri Garr, Linda Fiorentino, Cheech n Chong, Catherine O'Hara etc... One of those "I can't believe this happened in one crazy night in the city" films. Series of very strange things happen to the main character.
