any bird watching today?

Hey Tim! I spent an hour at a park near home, didn't see anything exciting, barely saw any birds at all. Another morning when all the action was along the Potomac River south of the Beltway ... Down there continuing American Avocet (rare in the area black & white shorebird with upcurved bill), 2 Cattle Egrets (even rarer around DC white heron).

I may hit the Potomac River tomorrow morning around low tide. No telling what the rain system might ground

Between this being Carole King and being a demo, this is not the Porpoise Song version I know the best. I.e. it's not Bongwater's cover

It amuses me when I hear it mentioned the promoters of Woodstock were under 30. That wasn't even a thing back then, the prevalent sentiment was "don't trust anyone over 30".

he was at woodstock - but was cut fronthe film three times - so i thought we would give him a little airplay

he played there - but faded back to obsurity - never got picked up for the film

I was listening over on the river by where I live and I get it. I bought a Fishman MIDI controller for my guitar, and could totally relate to the sampling aspect. Nice to here stuff like that.
