Rob from Maryland 🦀 4:26:22 PM
Hello?
rosasolis (host) 4:26:39 PM
hello!! the chat was closed somehow :( welcome!!
Rob from Maryland 🦀 4:27:47 PM
Hii! I've been dealing with things so I haven't had PRB streaming. Whatever is on rn sounds good
rosasolis (host) 4:28:50 PM
i hope whatever it is, it goes without too much of an issue :) and yes this is god machine! i played them a couple months back on my own show
Rob from Maryland 🦀 4:29:43 PM
Tornado warning for Dover DE right now. So far the only warned tornados have been in the north central Delmarva
Rob from Maryland 🦀 4:30:56 PM
I could use a god machine right now ;-)
Kelly Nielsen 4:33:10 PM
We love a DJ rosasolis sub :)
Rob from Maryland 🦀 4:33:45 PM
It's going without much issue now, thx rosasolis. Right now I just have a sorting thing, which I can postpone. And that's the end of dealing with things
Rob from Maryland 🦀 4:34:03 PM
Kelly, we do!
rosasolis (host) 4:34:30 PM
hiii kelly! always happy to hop in ♡ how are you? and @rob thats good to hear! :) i wonder what a god machine would look like.. are there any preponderance of colorful birds after a storm??
Kelly Nielsen 4:36:47 PM
doing good except for these pesky work meetings that interrupt the music. Love this Ohkami No Jikan. The bass is fabulous
Rob from Maryland 🦀 4:37:02 PM
@rosasolis, no colorful birds after a storm. But, migrating waterbirds are likely to be forced down to eye level along rivers and sometimes lakes or marshes in stormy weather
Kelly Nielsen 4:37:26 PM
It's also very hot here in California. No tornadoes though! Hope you're safe Rob
rosasolis (host) 4:38:55 PM
@kelly right?? and this solo! i hope those meetings can end soon :)) and omg cali!! im planning on going there before the summer ends.. it'll be my first time! and @rob ooh are any of those waterbirds on ur radar??
Rob from Maryland 🦀 4:39:19 PM
@rosasolis, a god machine for birders might be something that attracts migrating waterbirds to rivers and lakes during calm weather, and prompts them to be close and to stick around. Don't ask me why I'm saying that
Rob from Maryland 🦀 4:39:47 PM
@Kelly, thx, no tornados yet. I hope your meetings end soon
Kelly Nielsen 4:40:58 PM
Nice rosasolis! what part of California??
Rob from Maryland 🦀 4:42:08 PM
There were 2 then 1 Wilson's Phalaropes an hour's drive in a northern Virginia park through yesterday. But I just couldn't make it over there. Schedule conflict, and stormy weather. They are a kind of sandpiper that are rare in the DC area
rosasolis (host) 4:43:39 PM
@kelly SoCal i think! have you ever driven along the pacific coast highway?? and @rob oh even the name suggests a story!! i just looked them up and the females in particular look so serene!
Rob from Maryland 🦀 4:49:43 PM
@rosasolis, SoCal sounds nice! And in all phalaropes females and males have switched roles. The only thing "traditional" the female does is lay eggs. The male incubates and raises the young
rosasolis (host) 4:51:59 PM
oh wow! as they should hehe; i recently just learned that albatrosses stay with one mate per lifetime.. and it made me smile
Rob from Maryland 🦀 4:52:37 PM
Yes :-D
Rob from Maryland 🦀 4:53:31 PM
3 Tornado Warnings rn for storms capable of producing a tornado at any minute. 2 of these warning are around Lancaster PA while the third is near enough to Ocean City NJ
Kelly Nielsen 4:54:18 PM
Fun. I have driven the pacific coast highway. The northern california stretches, especially along Big Sur, are mind blowing. In socal, the highway is more or less swallowed up by the coastal cities. But there are still some beautiful parts of PCH even down south. The stretch from Pt. Mugu to Malibu, for example
Francis 4:54:42 PM
Been a silent listener for the last hour, but have to go. Both the music and DJ are just too angry for me today ;-)
rosasolis (host) 4:56:13 PM
glad you could stop by, thanks for tuning in @francis!! :) and @kelly ooh ill keep that in mind! im still planning but i would love to drive at least somewhat north.. and @rob i hope they dont reach near nyc...
Francis 4:57:21 PM
Rosasolis - I live in L.A. , but also lived in NorCal - just north of S.F. If you tell me where you'll be, I can offer up some interesting places to visit
rosasolis (host) 4:59:04 PM
i only know ill be around LA to start, so pls feel free to let me know about any places! im planning on driving
Kelly Nielsen 5:00:07 PM
If you want to drive the coast, you could do worse than hugging the coast from Santa Monica to Santa Barbara
rosasolis (host) 5:00:43 PM
ill keep you all updated:) thanks so much and see you soon!!
Kelly Nielsen 5:01:07 PM
Thank you!!!
Francis 5:02:04 PM
Dowtown in the arts district (next to little Tokyo)is where most of the fun restaurants are. Abbot Kinney Street in Venice/Main St in Santa MOnica is a nice day destination. Go see the Malibu Canyons during the day, and Drive along Mulholland Dr at night for a pretty view
Rob from Maryland 🦀 5:02:27 PM
funky drummer music
Rob from Maryland 🦀 5:02:46 PM
and bye everyone
Kelly Nielsen 5:03:07 PM
Bye rob stay safe!
Francis 5:03:35 PM

Rob from Maryland 🦀 5:04:17 PM
