Mikey Erg is moving out west. Before he does, the Ergs will reunite (as will Hunchback) August 27 at coLAB Arts (9 Bayard Street, New Brunswick, NJ).
As for Joe Erg, his current band Rough Lines will play August 22 at Harry’s Records (905 Main Street, Belmar, NJ). Also on that bill is Hair Magic, Either Either, Burn In Tweed and Lazy Hero.

Power pop as a genre to me is only one of those “coulda shoulda” Ben Baker than it ultimately was. It really was the logical step from the Beatles in a lot of ways. But then it went on influence a lot of other stuff like a lot of that punk do wave stuff had that one is a power pop in it. If not the look obviously.
