That self-titled album is a gem

going back to Melissa Auf der Maur's appearance on the Geddy Lee series-- she talking about how she would shoot pictures from the stage while she was playing by using a foot pedal and then it goes thru a brief montage of her on-stage photos with Hole and the Pumpkins and there's this incredible picture of the entire crowd at the Troc from what I'm guessing is Hole's show there 9/26/94.

It's the best picture I've ever seen of the perspective of the venue as seen from the stage. it made me really miss that place

I remember parts of The Troc being very, very darkly lit.

I don’t know how the troc came up, but it was the first place. I took my son to see a show.. he was very excited about the downstairs men’s room having a trough instead of urinals. The next morning, he told Mrs. Ramone that he had peed in a bathtub

Jon, yeah with all the overhang of the balcony a lot of areas were dark at the Troc but somehow in the Auf der Maur pic you can see the majority of the crowd on both levels and the crowd is in focus and really into the show. i paused the frame and looked at it for a long time to see if I could recognize anyone in the crowd, but did not.
