Ya gotta play some Herb Alpert at some point. I saw him two weeks ago in Wilmington. 81 and still going strong. Great show. Awesome players in his band. Should come as no surprise. He ain’t taking no slouches in his band

Original Yardbirds Heart Full of Soul was w Jeff Beck lead electric guitar imitating a sitar (playing an open D string drone while fretting notes on the G string above and slightly bending them just a nudge off pitch. They tried to use sitar and tabla musicians first but they did not quite have the same rock n roll beat rhythm sensibility (similar thing happened wZep members in India). Then they released the 1 you played today on bonus track version

... plus the sitar version does not have the backup vocal "whoa oh whoa oh" answers to the verse lead vocal. And no "I've got.." from the lead vocal to start the chorus. It's likely they weren't done adding vocals to that sitar version and abandoned it.
