Shruti Sadolikar Katkar (born in 1951 in Kolhapur, Maharashtra) is a classical singer of the khyal style in the Jaipur-Atrauli gharana. She learnt music from her father, Wamanrao Sadolikar, and Gulubhai Jasdanwala.

N. Ravikiran was was born in 1967 in Mysore. A child prodigy, he is credited for rescuing the chitravina (aka gottuvadyam) from total obscurity.

The Malladi Brothers, Malladi Sreeramprasad (born 1971) and Malladi Ravikumar (born 1973), obtained their music education initially from their father Malladi Suri Babu and grandfather Malladi Sriramamurthy.. Subsequently, they studied under Sripada Pinakpani, Nedunuri Krishnamurthy and Voleti Venkatesvarulu.

Recorded at their concert in Chennai in 2006 > with Sriram Parasuram (violin), Trichy Sankaran (mridangam), B.S. Purushotam (kanjira).

Nikhil Ranjan Banerjee ( 1931 – 1986) was an Indian classical sitarist of the Maihar Gharana. A student of the legendary Allauddin Khan, Nikhil Banerjee was known for his technical virtuosity and clinical execution. Along with Ravi Shankar and Vilayat Khan, he was one of the leading exponents of the sitar.

With Jnan Prakash Ghosh (tabla), broadcast by All India Radio on 24 December 1966.
