@Randy Marthins - Funny you should mention those Beach Party movies!: A couple of friends have a movie podcast called "Mary Vs the Movies" where they watch movies the main host, Mary Jones, hasn't seen before and discuss, and they just covered a covered "Beach Blanket Bingo" and "The Girl In the Invisible Bikini"

@Randy Marthins - Those beach party movies were gunned out so quickly, they ran outta ideas quickly and "Invisible Bikini" never even features a beach! It's more of a sloppy haunted house movie!

@Randy Marthins - Gidget was like Citizen Kane compared to the Beach Party movies! It has a plot and everything!

@Randy Marthins - Gidget seemed to kick off the whole trend, and that story was based on the screenwriter's own teenaged surfer daughter. Then Frankie and Annette make an entrance. The later beach party movies are just a series of disjointed cameos!

I've heard that The Waters of March is hard to sing because the lyrics are lists of unrelated things

BTW, the track art for the song you played is by a Ukrainian-Canadian artist friend of ours, Olenka. She does a lot of traditional egg art (pysanky) as well as iron-work, so somehow these two came together, and we got a cool egg with a goat that's shattered

Yeah, I grew up and I always like this stuff and everything but my wife wanted to go and I like the music so there was no issue there but I’m like kinda eh.. but yeah, he’s still going. He is 91 and doesn’t look or act it. And that band he has is just absolutely top notch perfect. Really really fun enjoyable night.

I like it so much I bought a T-shirt, which I never ever ever do not since I was like a teenager. Not to mention, I’m a cheap bastard.
