Amy, I remember going to visit Syracuse in high school (a listener who went there invited me to stay with her) and at the student book store the music shop had The Perfect Prescription on cassette...which contained many long bonus tracks that didn't make the LP. I wore that out on the train home and beyond.

Agreeing the horns are a nice additional dimsension.

It seems like finding a literary agent is harder than finding a booking agent and that is saying something!

It’s just like the cold query is intimidating so I’m trying to pick more people’s brains before I start launching off a bunch of bad emails haha

My advice, which I also give to bands writing labels is be SPECIFIC about why this is a good fit. Reference particular books or authors they work with and why you make sense and what work you would be willing to put in to make their efforts worthwhile.
