Trying to think of what went down between last week's show and this one. Decent holiday weekend? I enjoyed a pool party, went for a 7K run when it was 100 degrees out and picked up many post-storm fallen branches. Lotta World Cup too.

I drove to Lake Placid for a cabin and friends bachelor party and hiked Mount Marcy while simultaneously learning I’m too out of shape to hike Mount Marcy

I've done that drive and it is not short.

I stopped in Mass for two days on the way up so it wasn’t as bad.

Oh, also went to the Tony's Baltimore Grill / Superiority Burger pop-up on Sunday. Speaking of outstanding sandwiches...

tony's is our spot in AC - even before the new folks took it over. We love Angeloni's Club Madrid too. Really great.

That was where the dude who runs (?) Tony's told us to go after but we opted for a short boardwalk stroll and a drive back to beat the rain (which was mostly a success).

Angeloni's is their other spot. The interior is great. It has a crazy history - you'll read about it on the menu when you go. great food, great cocktails

I have admired their very C-64 web site.

Angelo's fairmount is a go-to.

Tony's was our spot for years, and when they took it over, they did everything right - simplified the menu, kept the things that were great about it, changed the things that needed changing. They got what was great about the place.
