It is once again Friday, and I am once again asking you to radio!

We summer in Princeton. We radio in Princeton.

Saw Mdou Moctar last year at an outdoor park outside of Philly. Concerts in the Stars series, King of Prussia - really cool chill place to see a show. Bring a chair, food trucks, drinks etc. Nice little gazebo stage. Mdou Moctar and co whipped up a storm. They build up the songs well live. Start out w that groove, build it up into a whirling explosion storm of sound repeat. Short sweet set.

Just saw Bela Fleck at same place last night. Played w/a trio. Banjo, drum set, standup electric Colombian harp. Never heard anything quite like it. Love that place.

That sounds fantastic! I wish there were more random outdoor shows like that (although here in NC in the summer it would probably be...unpleasant)

Good production co. handles a series of shows there as well as Ardmore Music Hall (aka 23 East Cabaret, Brownies other names... etc) and other venues. Last year at the park we also saw Nick Lowe with backing band Los Straitjackets. That was so good! Nick among the Luchadores! Really diverse assortment of shows there.

First of all, an inspired choice.

Secondly, going to Concert Under The Stars tonight to see Tortoise.

I love this Anadol/Marie Klock record and am so glad this song is becoming a PRB hit.

Tortoise! That's right tonight. Yer gonna have a ball. Enjoy. We had a great hot hot oven pizza last night from a food truck there (Scarlet Fire Authentic Neapolitan Pizza). Pesto, red peppers, couple cheeses and we asked them to put some red sauce on as well. Very good.

That is a tongue twisting workout to fit those sounds in that song at that tempo wow. Maybe she's a ..... no no no

Not to mention that she instills so much character into every word while navigating that crazy tempo

YES! Diction and elocution supreme. What a performer

She's also part of what makes Emperor's New Groove so utterly delightful
