Have you heard Prison by Stephen Jesse Bernstein? Spoken word poet, killed himself, then later they added musics to his poems and it's wild. One song is in Natural Born Killers movie.

Steve Allen played the piano on Jack Kerouac’s debut LP “Poetry For The Beat Generation”, recorded in 1958. What we heard was a bonus track (first released on the 1990 CD edition) taken from a 1959 NBC-TV broadcast of “The Steve Allen Plymouth Show”.
