In 2013, I telephoned a NJ radio station to win a pair of tix to see Death at (Le) Poisson Rouge. By an incredible coincidence, the guy standing in front of me on the LPR line was the radio personality who granted me those free tix. I gave him one of mine.

I did see Leprechaun 2 twice on opening day. LOL

Deke Dickerson became more famous after the Untamed Youth disbanded. He sometimes used to play in the Ocean County Library system! (Toms River, Jackson, Barnegat.) When I last saw Deke two years ago, he told me the librarian who booked him died.

I don't follow the World Cup, but last Friday at Crossroads I heard Jon Stewart (drumming for the headlining band) cheer USA’s victory over Paraguay.

That said, I talked to a dog walker in a local park the other day who was 25 years old tops who knows all sorts of early punk bands courtesy of their father. We had a great convo!
