CBS used to invite WPRB DJs to come to these press conferences at Black Rock. I went to one with Public Enemy but only Chuck D and Harry Allen made it. Allegedly, Flavor Flav couldn't find parking. Think Oran was also at that, but could have been the other one I attended with LL Cool J. There was also a Maurice Starr group that never went anywhere.

Jon, Flavor Flav was most likely out getting lit which is the story Chuck D tells often about why he wasn't where he was supposed to be. I believe he's since cleaned up

Good to hear that Dan Bejar tune from New Pornographers "Electric Version". Always keep up with those Destroyer releases. First heard some of the New Ps singles on WPRB about 20-25 yrs ago & went right out & bought the first 2 or 3 lps. Great band.

A close friend, incidentally of the Elwha tribe in PSNW, has a few Bigfoot stories.

Saw this Fall pop up the other day nice. The alumni of classic lineups are spearheading these releases. Good right up front gtr sounds
