The Byrds recorded “Mr. Tambourine Man” before “Bringing It All Back Home” came out. Did they hear Bob perform it before then, or did they simply get some inside info from Albert Grossman?

Speaking of the Byrds, Roger McGuinn gave another Monmouth University performance Friday. He lectured there the night before! I’m beginning to wonder if he lives in NJ.

I loved “High Flyin’ Bird” when I first heard it in the documentary “Monterey Pop”. But since I heard Judy Henske’s incomparable record many years later, I’ve been unable to go back to J.A.’s version!

I have listened to this PRB Sunday night folk slot since the 1960s, when for a time the dj was Jon Taplin
