@Jon Solomon - Having spent time in both Derry and Belfast, it was cool seeing them represented on screen, but Derry Girls was fun, and I didn’t dig the characters as much on HTGFHFB and yeah, plot was a bit messy

S2 felt like it suffered a bit from the old “how do we drag out this show that really meant to conclude neatly in one season to meet demand from the fans” syndrome. Still watched all of S2 and still worthwhile, but S1 esp good!

WPRB is my hobby soundtrack. In the dead of winter or the heat of summer I retreat into the basement and restore old stereos.

@roffle - "We are NJ savvy, or the other kids will kick our asses. Playground rules" I lived in CT until I was 11 and we moved to Jersey; it took me a few years and the trauma that goes with that age, but I finally came into my own. I visited my grandparents in CT one Summer, and the kids I knew in elementary school thought I'd become some sort of alien. A few years later, again visiting grandma & grandpa, but this time with bright orange hair and a skateboard, I was regarded even MORE Alien
