Thank you for being my guiding light of positivity into the current week and the highlight of my every Monday! <3 <3 <3 Every time I hear Kirk's 'Bright Moments', I get super-nostalgic for all the years, growing up in Northampton, MA, that this track aired on our local public radio station to advertise the Summer Open-Air 'Bright Moments' Jazz Festival hosted by (and taking place on the common lawn of) UMass Amherst! YAY!

Hey Dan - many years I went to see Pharoah at Keystone Korner, Apparently, he couldn't make it. He got his friend Leon Thomas to fill in, and I have to say, two hours of jazz yodeling is almost more than one is able to endure.

sleigh bells are usually NOT enough to make an Xmas song for me but they certainly don't hurt.

as an occasional creator of christmas songs, it is difficult to fight the urge to put sleigh bells on everything (though we usually give in)

in this day and age, the value of radio is songs i would never have otherwise heard being presented to me by someone who thinks they rule. and in that regard, wprb is unparalleled
