Plastic Dogs is a progressive metal jazz band based in Nagoya Japan, led by Ono Ryoko (Ryorchestra, Sax Ruins, etc).

Japanese musician, producer, composer and multi‑instrumentalist. Born in 1949 in Chigasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.

Modern Canterbury from Japan. Combining the Soft Machine-esque atmosphere, with the crazy Zappa freak outs. They also have hints of video game soundtrack influence.

Although describing their influences as post rock and minimal music, this Tokyo based group also wears its Canterbury influences on its sleeves, with their name "Moleslope" coming from the combination of Matching Mole and 'slope', for the slopes of Canterbury region in England.

"Stubbs" was an obscure Japanese group naming themselves after a song by "Hatfield and The North" (The Stubbs Effect). The group was creating music in the Canterbury scene vein during the mid 80's on 3 releases which didn't get much circulation. Led by keyboardist Kojiro Yamashita, who went on to release similar music under the name Canterburilogy.

Pochakaite Malko is a Japanese band formed in Tokyo in August 1996. Some members were in a group called "Magma Copy Band". While Zeuhl influenced, they are more RIO/Avant-Prog.

This one-off Japanese supergroup was formed by musicians that had played with Bondage Fruit, Korekyojinn, Ground Zero, Rovo, etc.

Kitarō (喜多郎), born Masanori Takahashi (高橋 正則) in 1953, is a Japanese recording artist, composer, record producer, and arranger noted for his electronic-instrumental "New Age" music. Hw was a member of the psychedelic "Far East Family Band".

Composed by Yuki Koseki, and sung by the pop stars, twin sisters Emi & Yumi Ito.
