Old Gusher seems at least as hard as Powerhouse, but I haven't found sheet music for it. it's a bit brutal! All those were of course from his jazz period, pre-electronium/Soothing Sounds for Baby electronic era, but I love that stuff too!

Sadly, I'm usually out of town the end of March and had to miss it and I love that fest! One of my favorite events of Philly Spring!

I was in a car accident a week before my wedding in the driving rain at night on a bad curve and I'll never forget the song playing on my stereo was Think of Me with Kindness by Gentle Giant! I had the thought for a split-second before I knew I'd live, "Well, I gues this is a fitting song to go out on!"

Kate is a good sport. She agreed to sing on my friend's album (Time of Orchids' "Much Too Much Fun") for free in the early 2000s because she liked their music, and she asked for no pay. She hadn't heard of them, they just sent her some of their songs on a lark and told her they were huge fans of her, and she sang on two songs!

@Dale Hazelton - Re: many one-minute songs - One of these day I'll reintroduce The Iron DJ Competition Dan Ruccia and former WPRB DJ (still a DJ in Asheville, NC) Greg Lyon invented 20+ years ago whereby two DJs alternate playing 1-minute or shorter tracks only for 3 hours!

@Amy Lee - Reminds me of that contest in the 70s where schoolkids were encouraged to nominate songs to be included in on the "Golden Record" that was launched into space on the Voyager spacecraft in 1977.
