let me be selfish....i hope i can be forgiven for indulging in some boy band guilty pleasure...everyone needs to feel 13 again sometimes

so story time... this set would not be true to what i've been listening to recently without a mention of a certain neo culture technology...

mark and ten leaving SM, mark leaving nct and suddenly i am 13 years old again and awake like a parasocial sleeper agent. ill keep this short but this guy was like jesus leaving the bible, he was an integral part of multiple groups and the group identity and has now left after 10 years. this whole situation has gotten me thinking about what it means to grow up and leave things you love behind and choose yourself at the end of the day.

these next two songs come from NCT dream, mark's group that has centered this coming of age theme, with its members growing up together since their young teenage years. rounding out our show on a more nostalgic and reflective note leaving us wondering how far away are we really from our past and all the things we once loved?
