I saw Bongwater at Maxwell's in 1988 after Jack's Music Shoppe manager Tim Cronin (R.I.P.) hectored me into buying the "Double Bummer" album. Ann Magnuson was wearing a bridal gown, reading aloud defamatory things about Sinatra when the set suddenly started with "Frank".

Enjoyed the first hour in the car. Couldn't chat, time for a run!
