| Ajoy Chakrabarty (Vocal) Raag Maand Top Hindustani vocalist Ajoy Chakrabarty (born 1952) had early musical training from his father Ajit Chakrabarty and later under the teachers Kanaidas Bairagi, Pandit Jnan Prakash Ghosh and Munawar Ali Khan. He became the youngest recipient of the Gold Medal from the Sangeet Research Academy where he currently teaches. He has a wide repertoire in various forms including Khayal, Thumri, Tappa etc. He has been awarded the Padma Bhushan, India’s third highest civilian honor. |

| R K Shriramkumar (Violin) "Sri Subrahmanyaya" in Khamboji Ragam & Tisra Eka Talam Muthuswamy Dikshitar Sangita Kalanidhi R K Shriramkumar (born 1966) of the Rudrapatnam lineage is a top-ranking Carnatic violinist, vocalist, composer, and guru. He learnt music from Smt. Savitri Satyamurthy, his grandfather Sri R K Venkatarama Shastry, violinist Sri V V Subrahmanyam ,and vocalist Sangita Kalanidhi Sri D K Jayaraman. Shriramkumar has been a much sought-after accompanist for many musical giants and a guide for many young musicians. |
