Years ago in my record store days, a guy traded in a classic Chris Connor record with a long heartfelt recommendation from the gifter.....

I saw Captain B. and his Magic Band on Halloween 1972 open for Jethro Tull. Not well received. Then I saw them headline at the Tower five months later, and the whole audience adored them.

Wow, surprised they headlined the Tower...

Elliott Levin was at the Tower show.
