0x7EA Roffle 12:04:41 PM
Happy Friday Folks!
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:05:13 PM
Does everyone notice Christine comes with her own personal set icons
rick hallahan 12:06:06 PM
And I also notice that she's more than ready to hear more percussion.
0x7EA Roffle 12:06:40 PM
Christine has a whole emoji language going. :)
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:07:30 PM
Today: 1) Jazz 2) St. Patrick's Day Party 3) Country Joe McDonald
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:08:09 PM
Here's her percussion
rick hallahan 12:08:37 PM
How about that - right on cue!
Patrick White 12:08:50 PM
Greeting s to Jerry O’McGordigan. And to all LA’MAITH DO CHAC’H
0x7EA Roffle 12:09:15 PM
Can count on it
rick hallahan 12:09:15 PM
Hey Patrick! Erin Go Bragh!
Patrick White 12:10:04 PM
Jerry would give Irishers a discount at 3rd Street on Saint Patrick’s Day provided they use GREEN money☘️🇮🇪
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:11:12 PM
In fact, that's all we took! Erin Go Bragh and Chag Sameach, bro!
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:12:01 PM
Christine is responsible for the Rosetta Stone of Modern Jazz, studied in major universities and drug dens.
Mike Constantine 12:12:11 PM
Yeah....I have no memory of using a credit card there
Patrick White 12:12:14 PM
Any Central Shore New Jerseyolios I highly recommend this Sundays rescheduled Belmar Parade . A real Craic parade.
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:13:00 PM
I love this! Patrick, expand my Celtic vocabulary and tell me what Craic means!
Mike Constantine 12:13:43 PM
A sound an old chair makes?
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:14:03 PM
Haha, I don't think so
Patrick White 12:14:17 PM
In less than one hour Jerry and Patrick’s favorite D3 men’s bball team takes the floor. The Mighty Maccabees of Yeshiva U. Hope they are singing Hava Nagila later on
Patrick White 12:15:23 PM
Craic is basically a good time , hoedown, hootenany with music , laughter, food and some obligatory minor drunken Celtic violence
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:16:00 PM
Frickin' Aleph!
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:18:46 PM
I don't like to associate St. Patrick's Day with alcohol, although the drunkest I ever got in my life was on St. Patrick's Day 1970 in Madison Wisconsin on 15 cent green beers. Had to show the Wisconsin boys that we Philadelphians knew how to drink! I, however, did not!
Patrick White 12:20:05 PM
50 years ago Saint Patrick’s weekend had a plethora of local entertainment.George Thorogood,Bill Withers,Mandrill,Major Harris,Maria Muldaur with Leon Redbone,Laura Nyr0,MFSB,Mick Moloney with Eugene ODonnell and a bizarre billing at 150 N Broad Street Barclays James Harvest,BeBop Deluxe and Asbury Jukes.
rick hallahan 12:21:09 PM
Maria Muldaur of "It Ain't the Meat, It's the Motion" fame.
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:21:14 PM
Mandrill wasn't Irish!
Mike Constantine 12:21:33 PM
An odd lineup indeed.....folky, Prog and Joisey rock
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:21:43 PM
See what Rick gravitates towards?
rick hallahan 12:21:58 PM
Oy vey!
Mike Constantine 12:22:19 PM
Physics?
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:22:35 PM
Kinda
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:23:07 PM
This ain't no Franklin Institute we're talkin' about here
Mike Constantine 12:23:56 PM
Sure ain't
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:24:08 PM
This song was included for Rofl as a soundtrack to his search for nirvana
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:24:23 PM
pursuit I should say
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:24:46 PM
This ain't no disco
rick hallahan 12:25:16 PM
It's social music!
Mike Constantine 12:25:16 PM
But it is a party
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:25:35 PM
Haha, right on Rick!
0x7EA Roffle 12:25:59 PM
Social music! Good call!
Richard Mitnick 12:26:08 PM
I have been clicked in. Happy to have you in my digiteria. I hope you are having a great show.
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:26:45 PM
Thank you, Richard. I think I just got some digiteria on me!
0x7EA Roffle 12:27:20 PM
Richard is in the Digiteria!
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:28:01 PM
That's like being "in the house"!
Mike Constantine 12:28:03 PM
This ain't no Horn & Hardarts
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:28:28 PM
Haha, or Linton's
0x7EA Roffle 12:28:38 PM
No foolin' around...
rick hallahan 12:29:06 PM
Or "in the pocket".
Patrick White 12:29:13 PM
Shout out to the late great titan of Irish America Radio Adrian Flannelly . My father got to meet him once . In this case it was good to meet your heroes. Kind, friendly and accommodating Requiescat In Pace☘️
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:29:36 PM
More percussion for Christine who is eating sushi near rutgers by now
aiffrig 12:29:47 PM
K+W myrte beach
Patrick White 12:30:01 PM
Mike with all the High Tech today I am surprised Horn and Hardarts didn’t make a comeback
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:30:03 PM
aiffrig!
Mike Constantine 12:30:40 PM
True....it's a good brand
Patrick White 12:32:45 PM
As much as I dislike XPN sorry to see World Cafe collapsing and fall apart. Always well run efficient place for shows. Not sure if it was hippies who couldn’t handle money or heartless bloodless pharaohs destroying it for condos .
Mike Constantine 12:32:45 PM
Ha!
0x7EA Roffle 12:34:50 PM
Great concept that worked for a while Pat, in my opinion, but the demographic approach they went with was a mistake. In my opinion. Sad.
Patrick White 12:35:56 PM
They are re running the David Johansen movie on showtime if you can access . Highly recommended. It’s dedicated to Gordski compadre The late Hal Willner . He has a brief cameo
aiffrig 12:36:27 PM
must have been the " hippie hammer "
Patrick White 12:37:55 PM
Mike and Rof. I took a walk after a Penn Quakers BB game. Upstairs was a dark unlit bar staffed by a zombie . Downstairs was a probably empty KISS tribute concert .
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:38:30 PM
I have a cheapo plan with Comcast. I have to watch Frasier re-runs, I don't get showtime. Hal was the most well liked person in the music world, ever.
Mike Constantine 12:39:18 PM
Yeesh....it doesn't sound inviting
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:39:54 PM
Rofl, their demographic was waiting for the new wheelchair ramp to be installed.
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:42:05 PM
Patrick, if the movie is showing up on another network, please let me know.
Patrick White 12:42:19 PM
Me and Russ are going to play a practical joke on XPN . We are going to stroll in with Toll Brothers Hard Hats and tape measures . Walk around muttering construction Lingo and pass out fake busycards
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:43:00 PM
Rick, you're on!
aiffrig 12:43:46 PM
grapefruit games in clearwater , always fun
rick hallahan 12:43:56 PM
It's time for my shot of B3, Dr. Jerry!
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:43:56 PM
hahahahahaha Patrick. You should get a comedy gig there with that one!
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:44:49 PM
Aiffrig, I hear that Clearwater is fantastic, then I hear Clearwater is weird. What is the story?
Patrick White 12:45:12 PM
Jerry maybe your local library has on DVD. It’s called One Night Only
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:45:53 PM
Thanks, Patrick
Patrick White 12:47:16 PM
Since the Phillies are too cheap to air spring training games I listen to the great Red Sox announcers. They were raving about how great Clearwater is . The restaurants , the Berm, the stadium. The traffic…Oy Vey
rick hallahan 12:49:11 PM
I know this is a family show, but this music is orgasmic.
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:51:03 PM
Pat Bianchi is a bad man, but this album is a surprise!
0x7EA Roffle 12:52:03 PM
@Pat, can I carry a clipboard? I just wanna watch that act.
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 12:52:18 PM
Haha
aiffrig 12:52:30 PM

Rob F 12:52:59 PM

rick hallahan 12:53:20 PM

Patrick White 12:54:25 PM
Ox7 you can wear a nice suit and when David Dye starts screaming you can say…. Sir Please it’s all taken care of . Just contact corporate .
Patrick White 12:55:14 PM
We are missing members today due to Triskaidekaphobia
aiffrig 12:55:30 PM
L+I just needs an envelope
Mike Constantine 12:55:44 PM
Easy for you to say
0x7EA Roffle 12:57:14 PM
@Patrick, I can work with that.
Patrick White 1:00:28 PM
Anyone interested WQXR nyc classical has 1956 archive of a young Neil Sedaka playing on a classical music young persons show.
Patrick White 1:02:14 PM
I would submit Thin Lizzy as the Irish Beatles but it’s all good . Shane McGowan forever
Patrick White 1:04:46 PM
Shout out to the stage manager at City Gardens who told Shane and the Boys …. Drink what you want boyos. Its on the house. A grand time
Mike Constantine 1:05:28 PM
Bartender Jon Stewart would be in overdrive
rick hallahan 1:07:12 PM
There's no better place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day than in Jim Thorpe, PA. Alexander Campbell's muddy handprint remains to this day on the wall of his prison cell in the old Carbon County prison. He proclaimed his innocence (he was a member of the famous Molly Maguires) before he was hanged in 1877.
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:08:46 PM
Wow! Thank you, Rick!
Russell Woessner 1:08:48 PM
Listening from the Upper West Side today. Pianist Fred Hersch plays at Smoke Jazz club tonight through Sunday with Felix Moseholm on bass and Kush Abadey on. drums. Livestreams tonight at 6 & 8 pm: https://livestreams.smokejazz.com/

Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:09:41 PM
Hi Russ! Enjoy!
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:10:20 PM
Chef Emeril, thanks for visiting!
Patrick White 1:10:32 PM
Shout out to Mauch Chunk PA. How can we get tourists here. ?? Hey let’s exhume some great athletes body who never lived or visited here and name our town after him. Send a check to the family.
Mike Constantine 1:11:07 PM
The Chunkers weren't pleased
rick hallahan 1:12:16 PM
Patrick, you go to the head of the class!
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:12:43 PM
I'm going to seced from my township and rename it Norm Van Brocklin! Could I get checks?
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:12:53 PM
secede
Chef Emeril Lagasse 1:13:54 PM
Oh man, I hadn't heard about Country Joe. BAM to him. I was just recently looking into ways to listen to the entire Woodstock festival recordings in order, but it looks like the most comprehensive one is an extremely expensive box set
Mike Constantine 1:14:30 PM
A long out of print box set
Patrick White 1:15:18 PM
I used to go bicycling in Jim Thorpe . They used to post Black Bear sightings on the path. Like I cared what race the Bears were?
aiffrig 1:17:54 PM
u see a white one you peddled too far
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:18:06 PM
appearing live at World Cafe, Patrick White with Russ Woessner and the Roflman. Coming in 2027
Mike Constantine 1:18:16 PM
Ha!
rick hallahan 1:19:13 PM
Since the Reading & Northern Railroad set up shop in Jim Thorpe and has daily tourist train rides, trying to navigate in a vehicle through the town is an absolute nightmare.
Christine 𓅊 𓃕 𓃹 1:20:24 PM
Of course, loving the percussion
Patrick White 1:20:46 PM
Laugh riot how they changed their name to World Stage . Yeah how devious. No creditors or tax attorneys will figure that one out.
Christine 𓅊 𓃕 𓃹 1:20:53 PM
LOL @ Jerry
Russell Woessner 1:20:56 PM
Clarinetist and saxophonist Anat Cohen leads her quartet with Gary Versace on piano, Martin Wind on bass and Matt Wilson on drums at Birdland tonight & tomorrow: https://www.birdlandjazz.com/tm-event/anat-cohen-quartet-7/

I do love this song so
Christine 𓅊 𓃕 𓃹 1:21:24 PM
Good info, @Russell
Patrick White 1:22:48 PM
This was originally a folk song written by Woody Guthrie
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:23:33 PM
We're playing this for Women's Month
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:26:14 PM
The woman's version of this song
aiffrig 1:26:52 PM

Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:28:25 PM

Richard Mitnick 1:34:07 PM
1:30, such beautiful music. Thanks.
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:38:21 PM
Thank you, Chef. Someone else told me that. I don't know how to fix that! Any ideas?
rick hallahan 1:40:01 PM
Coming through loud and clear here.
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:40:43 PM
Richard, glad you are appreciating this music!
Patrick White 1:41:00 PM
Shout out to the Waterboys. Just released a Johnny Thunders tribute album. Thanks to the late Rick Allen of YSP for introducing them to my ears
Anthony B. Creamer III 1:41:57 PM
I went to Boston last week to hear Van Morrison. At age 80 he sounds better than ever. And unlike the Pauls McCartney and Simon his intonation is perfect. No bum notes.
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:42:50 PM
Wow! Did you go to Boston specifically for that show?
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:44:39 PM
Must have been a great experience
Mike Constantine 1:45:07 PM
Especially if Van yelled at him
Patrick White 1:45:36 PM
You might think you’re cool but you’ll never be as cool as Phil Lynette smoking a cigarette in a leather jacket in Stephen’s Green. Rest in Peace Boyo
Christine 𓅊 𓃕 𓃹 1:45:38 PM
🥃✨️
Patrick White 1:47:00 PM
I remember Don Rickles roasting Van . Hey Van make yourself at home ,Yell at somebody!!
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:47:16 PM
Patrick, you're going to have to have Mike open for you guys
Christine 𓅊 𓃕 𓃹 1:47:18 PM
"The Pauls" good one @Anthony
Patrick White 1:47:29 PM
Sorry Phil Lyn0tt.
Anthony B. Creamer III 1:48:23 PM
Jerry, long train to Boston. Check out the Boston setlist. Almost all cover tunes. Strange, considering how deep his own songbook. But that's Van and it was wonderful.
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:49:07 PM
Nice!
Christine 𓅊 𓃕 𓃹 1:49:10 PM
Did Van Morrison have a kitchen egg timer on stage? I once heard a story about him setting an egg timer, and when it dinged he cleared out. No more music!
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:50:03 PM
The opposite of Patrick. Whenever he performs they have to bring out the hook
Patrick White 1:50:10 PM
If ZZ Top were Irish!!
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:50:54 PM
Would they still play Tush?
Anthony B. Creamer III 1:52:12 PM
Van played alto, harmonica, guitar and sang sometime all on the same song. Christine, the last 90 seconds of his set were him playing harmonica off stage. Too cool.
Russell Woessner 1:52:19 PM
Van Morrison performed one of the best shows I ever saw.
Lester Wiggs 1:52:29 PM
Hey Gang! I get one comment only. Then bounce out of the chat. Hi Jerry! I guess it Atlanta Rhythm Section nest up. Also- is it Neil Sedaka's birthday?
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:52:52 PM
hey Lester, no... he died!!!
Anthony B. Creamer III 1:53:30 PM
I've heard some transcendent Van shows and some duds that rank as worst ever experienced.
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:53:33 PM
Anthony, meet Russ! You are the two busiest music travelers I have ever met
Patrick White 1:53:44 PM
Greetings to my favorite local beat poet Lester.hope to see you at Sunday Patrick Day parade
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 1:54:07 PM
Another one for Christine
Patrick White 1:55:37 PM
Cranberries.terrifying video. New Jersey needs to promote that Cranberry capital of USA moniker
Russell Woessner 1:58:44 PM
Hey Patrick, I would meet you at 88.5 with a hard hat but I I have an involuntary gag reflex whenever I go down that block of Walnut Street.
Mike Constantine 2:00:06 PM
I bet!
Patrick White 2:01:36 PM
Ok Russ I will bring Lester and Mike C.but you will be there in spirit
Lester Wiggs 2:01:48 PM
Thanks Patrick. There is a fine park in central Jersey a great Cranberry place once upon a time. I am grounded adding up expenses for 2025. So I can pay my taxes.
0x7EA Roffle 2:02:36 PM
Gettin' jiggy with it.
Patrick White 2:03:53 PM
There is a Cranbury in central but nothing to do with cranberries. The cranberry area is actually in the Pinelands.
aiffrig 2:05:07 PM
but , it's a big beautiful bill , now i'm understandin
Patrick White 2:05:13 PM
Country Joes parents were reds who named him after Joseph Stalin. That’s hardcore
0x7EA Roffle 2:05:16 PM
There be Bogs
Lester Wiggs 2:07:55 PM
We're going up the country, do you wanna go?
Lester Wiggs 2:08:41 PM
But not in a Shakespearean sense.
Christine 𓅊 𓃕 𓃹 2:09:45 PM
That's fantastic, Anthony and Russell!
Mike Constantine 2:13:14 PM
I believe Barry Melton is still with us
David Shortell 2:14:17 PM
The Fish are so much better than Phish.
Scurrow Squirrel 2:15:12 PM
Who HERE was at Woodstock?
David Shortell 2:15:26 PM
Is "Not So Sweet Martha Lorraine" an answer song to Bob Dylan’s "Absolutely Sweet Marie”?
Mike Constantine 2:15:52 PM
I was 50 miles away at Peck's Pond...that's about it
Scurrow Squirrel 2:16:07 PM
I've literally never met a single person who was at Woodstock-
Mike Constantine 2:16:27 PM
I know a few
aiffrig 2:17:34 PM
that's cause they couldn't get there with the traffic
aiffrig 2:18:38 PM
yes i remember the radio broadcast on mmr
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:19:41 PM
My beloved late Cousin Steve, my hero, was there selling hippie garb and pipes, and came home with a wife!
Lester Wiggs 2:19:50 PM
Well I did see Richie Havens one time up on the West Side. He was very tall. Thats all I can say.
Mike Constantine 2:20:16 PM
The thunderstorms that rolled through Peck's Pond were vicious that weekend
Patrick White 2:20:57 PM
Richie Havens playing at 30 th street station during lunch hour is probably the highlight of my USPS career
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:20:58 PM
Mike, what was Peck's Pond? Is that a place your family would go to?
David Shortell 2:21:22 PM
Every Joe McDonald obituary article I’ve seen makes you think "I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-to-Die Rag" from the Woodstock documentary is the only thing he ever did. It’s sad that that’s his main claim to fame. The Fish broke up by the time that movie came out so it didn’t do them any good.
Mike Constantine 2:22:00 PM
My Uncle (and Will's) had a cabin there. NE Pa
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:22:01 PM
Great points, David
Chef Emeril Lagasse 2:22:21 PM
Also it IS indeed Neil Sadakas birthday today
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:22:31 PM
A proper perspective.
Lester Wiggs 2:22:39 PM
fixing. key word there.
Chef Emeril Lagasse 2:22:40 PM
Patrick, please more details of Richie havens at 30th!
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:22:46 PM
Thank you, Chef, I did not know
Lester Wiggs 2:23:25 PM
Jerry I don't want it to end! Ever.
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:23:56 PM
Right on!
Mike Constantine 2:24:25 PM
Right arm!
Lester Wiggs 2:24:50 PM
Pharm out!
Mike Constantine 2:25:06 PM
Ha!
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:25:07 PM
Kick out the jams!
Mike Constantine 2:25:21 PM
Mother..................................
David Shortell 2:26:46 PM
I remember Fish's 1965 recording of “Superbird” referenced the equally obscure Spider-Man instead of Doctor Strange.
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:27:38 PM
David, you are one of the few. Did you own that E.P.?
David Shortell 2:28:43 PM
The Fish less famously appeared in the Monterey Pop doc (playing “Section 43”) and the 1970 Roger Corman movie “Gas-s-s-s”.
Rob from Maryland 🦀 2:29:20 PM
Hello
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:29:42 PM
Hi Rob! Where's Mr. Crab?
John Ceneviva 2:30:13 PM
Liatening to Country Joe I can feel my consciousness changing...
David Shortell 2:30:28 PM
No, Jerry. I bought the first LP over 40 years ago, but only recently found out about the 2 EP's they did before that!
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:31:45 PM
Hi John, I see you as having graduated the Cosmic Consciousness Finishing School
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:32:02 PM
Thank you, Rob!
Rob from Maryland 🦀 2:32:25 PM
@Jerry, Mr. Crab obviously scuttered away, but he's baaaaack
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:32:32 PM
Very cool, David.
John Ceneviva 2:32:35 PM
Ha
Lester Wiggs 2:32:38 PM
@David. You saved up your allowance and then bought a vinyl record instead of candy? Where did you buy it? Were you 12?
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:33:24 PM
David was buying psychedelic music when he was 6
Mike Constantine 2:34:15 PM
25 cents a week allowance was tough to buy an album
Lester Wiggs 2:34:50 PM
Thanks Jerry. And your flag decal won't get you into heaven anymore.
Patrick White 2:34:52 PM
Hey CHEF . During the Clinton era Amtrak was flush with money. They had a series of concerts. The artists would perform all along the metro corridor. Can’t remember the others but Richie’s was like a religious revival meeting
David Shortell 2:35:16 PM
16, I think!
Lester Wiggs 2:35:56 PM
I guess I had a mad magazine record we played a lot. It had a lot of f art sounds. Or maybe burps.
Patrick White 2:36:34 PM
Anyone considering attending any Live Nation events please read the emails amongst their corporate suits mocking customers paying usurious fees and prohibitive parking costs . True Human Scum
David Shortell 2:37:18 PM
My second hand purchase of the 2nd album included its "The Fish Game" poster. I never played it though. I think you need joints, which weren't included.
Chef Emeril Lagasse 2:37:18 PM
@patrick that's insane and awesome!
aiffrig 2:37:52 PM
nothin like havin my brothers in college in philly durin those times , fukin war blows
Mike Constantine 2:38:01 PM
"dynamic pricing"
Patrick White 2:40:27 PM
I think the 1980s three card monte NYC guys should sue Live Nation for copyright infringement
David Shortell 2:43:14 PM
Joe and Robin’s wedding was highlighted in the 3rd LP “Together”. I’ve wondered how the marriage worked out for them.
Lester Wiggs 2:43:48 PM
@ Patrick- Did you ever see them rolling the mark? I saw it in person in the back of a Septa bus. Three Card Monte. It comes close to the Three Body Problem for all you physicists a out there.
David Shortell 2:44:40 PM
I’m a life-long East Coaster but I still get a kick out of the fierce anti-New York stance of “The Streets of Your Town”!
Dave Klingman 2:45:10 PM
Thank for that clean air version of the fish cheer rather than then live F @ C K cheer :-). That song reminds me of Tom Paxton's satirical anti-war folk song, "Talking Vietnam Potluck Blues"
Lester Wiggs 2:45:42 PM
I coast when I see an Easter. Who do you love?
Dave Klingman 2:45:57 PM
Hey Gerry… Are you purposely broadcasting with your microphone coming from the far right?
Lester Wiggs 2:46:38 PM
We got Bunny's Also Bunions.
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:46:52 PM
Hi David K, what a great track by Paxton!!! Thanks for listening!
Patrick White 2:47:03 PM
When offered entry into 3 card monte on a SEPTA bus I would respond with No Habla Ingles’
Dave Klingman 2:47:22 PM
You rock ‘n’ roll with so much soul! Miss go to your store down on third Street!
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:48:27 PM
No Dave, not on purpose. Other people have mentioned. Must find out why that is happening but I appreciate you mentioning it
aiffrig 2:49:45 PM
life in the big city , thank the gods my parents kinda gave me a clue , cause they were from there
Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:50:06 PM

Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:50:54 PM
Aiffrig, your parents were from Philly?
aiffrig 2:52:47 PM

Serenade to a Cuckoo w/Jerry Gordon (host) 2:53:10 PM

Pianist Dave Burrell plays solo at the Out Fest Creative Improvisation Festival tonight at 9 pm at 107 Suffolk St in New York: https://www.artsforart.org/out-fest/ Matthew Shipp performs a solo piano set on Sunday.
aiffrig 2:53:30 PM
try walkin down that area
David Shortell 2:54:07 PM
I believe the Fish songs “Grace” and “Janis” were inspired by the San Francisco songstresses. No songs about the Mojo Men’s Jan Errico or the Loading Zone’s Linda Tillery though.
Patrick White 2:54:24 PM
Thanks for great sheeeeww Gordski. Everyone have a great weekend and enjoy Saint Patrick’s Day . Everyone happy on my feast day . What a great deal
David Shortell 2:54:58 PM
