Wgtb is long gone, was shut down at the end of January 1979, though there is now an online station from Georgetown university. I’ve never listened to to that though….

But wprb is carrying on that underground radio legacy

@rosasolis, the last song on WGTB (in January 1979) was supposed to be David Bowie's "Heroes". The dj didn't take the needle off in time so the next song on the album came up, "Sons of the Silent Age", which in my opinion was even more appropriate as the station's last song. After that song finished, the station truly shut down.
