A couple years ago I read a book called Sound Within Sound, which was my first Exposure to Eliane Radigue. The book talks about other similar experimental musicians.

my sliver of a tribute will cover the early feedback works as I kind hastily threw this together

Really great read, strongly recommend it.

When I read it I checked out a bunch of the people me turned in the book and was really captivated by many of them. Much of it is such deliberate listening that I unwittingly got away from a lot of it

But hearing the news of Radigue's death, reminded me I should get back to it

A show on WFMU pronounced her name RadEEG. I'm glad these interviews said her name more like I pronounced it in my head.

That show was earlier this week

actually I think it is more radeeg, but contrary to popular belief robots can be pretty stupid

also my hoagie mouth wants to treat her name like the red sauce Ragu

Hey I never said I cared to say her name the correct way.

Which I suppose I should. Especially given this week's circumstances

They're showing a film this Wednesday that looks pretty far out with musical accompaniment from Henbane. Seems like something the Clamour Club crowd would be interested in.
