Unnikrishnan started musical training at the age of 12 under V L Seshadri and continued it under Sangita Kalanidhi Dr S Ramanathan and in the “Veena Dhanammal Bhani Special Workshop.” An A Grade Artiste of All India Radio, Unnikrishnan is a successful film playback singer and accomplished cricket player. | |

Carnatic Vocalist, composer and film playback singer Rajkumar Bharati (born 1958) is the great grandson of the celebrated Tamil poet and freedom fighter Subramanya Bharati. Rajkumar had his Carnatic music training under Valliyur Gurumurthy, T V Gopalakrishnan and Balamurali Krishna. Rajkumar Bharati has served as vocal accompaniment for innumerable dance performances. | |

Sriranjani Santhanagopalan (top photo) was born in 1988 as the daughter of the eminent musician Sangita Kalanidhi Neyveli Santhanagopalan. She had advanced training starting at the age of 17 from her father. She has won several awards including Best and Outstanding Vocalist prize from The Madras Music Academy. Popularly known as AVR, Aishwarya Vidya Raghunath (bottom photo) hails from Bangaluru and started her musical training at the age of 3. She went on to receive training under several eminent Carnatic Gurus. Aishwarya is the winner of many awards from the Madras Music Academy. | |

Saraswati Veena exponent Dr. Jayanthi Kumaresh traces her ancestry back to a prestigious Carnatic musical family. She learnt music from her mother and her aunt, both sisters of the violin maestro, Lalgudi Jayaraman. She received further training in the veena from Dr. S. Balachander. She is a top international performer and has been given numerous awards for her performances, compositions, and research work. |
