Hard to say, sometimes they're quirky and novelty-ish, but with great musicianship backing it up. Might as well check out the "hits" like My Name is Mud and Jerry Was a Race Car Driver

They also do a great cover of King Crimson's Thela Hun Ginjeet

I might have to pull out that LP later today.

okay the for carnation is a super new discovery for me and it did not disappoint

Brian from The For Carnation was in Squirrel Bait and Slint but somehow this band went under the radar comparatively. I am still haunted by the show I booked for them in Chicago (both because of how good they were and how they lost the room midway through and people at the back of the room became louder than the band).
