Thanks for playing David Bowie's "Slip Away," his tribute to N.J. performing great "Uncle Floyd" Vivino. I was absolutely delighted learn from Uncle Floyd's obituary in the New York Times that Bowie, Iggy Pop, Cyndi Lauper, Jon Bon Jovi and John Lennon (yes, THE John Lennon) were major Floyd fans! :-D

In the late '80s, I wrote for the Princeton Packet newspaper group an article about Uncle Floyd when the clueless and humorless political appointees who ran NJ Public TV dumped his show. But Floyd and his crazy crew went out shining ...
