TAndy, me too. One weather model map suggested that DC Baltimore & Trenton/Princeton could each get 10-13 inches from a storm next weekend. I hope it doesn't happen

it's still too early to trust any models just yet imo. this time last week it was suggested the past storm would have been suppressed, and then much further south putting us in 18"+ territory.

Other models say anything (for DC) from 0 to 6-ish inches. And it is too early to trust models, for sure.

I remember the suppression for this past storm a week ago, and look what happened.

The upcoming storm looks dependent in how far off the coast the storm's center is as the system heads northeast. The closer the center is to DC/Philly/NYC, the more snow

We held up ok. We had slow changing into sneet. I mean snow changing into sleet. Fortunately the freezing rain for my part of the DC area didn't really happen. But the sleet in the snow made the snow heavy and hard to shovel. How did you hold up?

in upper jersey it was almost a foot for me; i was able to stay inside for most of it but getting my car out of it all.. v exhausting :(

I think my neighborhood had 5 or 6 inches of snow before the sleet started. Our street hasn't been plowed yet, though the townhouse landscape service came about 24 hours ago and cleared all our sidewalks and parking lots (15 townhouses, so not too much for them) really well

in total i spent 5 hours cleaning up through different times

the road i live adjacent to with all the parking didn't get plowed at all and a lot of people just drive off without digging out spots, so there's lots of snow mounds.

It's times like this I'm glad I don't own a car.

Rosasolis, if not for the sleet, we could have had a foot of somewhat powdery snow. The weight of the sleety snow made the whole process exhausting for us

I first heard Ms Papas on "Music From the Hearts of Space" from Stephen Hill in San Fransisco, which was on Public Radio, but is now a subscription service which I have enjoyed for over 25 years.

@richard oh do they play mostly ambient or long electronica pieces? i will definitely have to check them out.. those types of shows always serve as so much inspiration

Nah you didn't say anything wrong or leave anything out. It's just the website sucks when you are on the road and only access it through your phone. It used to be great. Now it isn't. Simple as that. I imagine it's fine on a laptop

Yes the stream is good. I don't care for how iTunes connects through that TuneIn service so I use the website when I want to listen on my phone. Works great.
