If anyone has ever flown in a small aircraft, and I have briefly, when approaching the airport- first you have to look all around, and see if you see any other aircraft. I am speaking here to a filed without a tower.

@Lester, I was in a friends Cessna and I was kinda worried there was no tower control, just go fly. I had no idea you could just do that.

We flew to the field in North Carolina. Where the Wright Brothers flew the first 'heavier than air' craft. At 5000 feet I looked down on the Delaware bay.

Well, let me tell the rest of the story. Pilot was my big brother. He had a friend with a twin prop. Brother is no fool, and yet, he opens the throttle to keep up with his buddy. At a certain point he recognized he is out of gas. Pretty sure he at least peed himself if not pooped himself. The Tower did guide him in. Pilot training is no joke. No One was there.
