And accepted all bravery with god on my side.

Lester Wiggs 6:49:40 PM
'He'll stop the next war. ' Nietzsche understood this in the last century, when he proclaimed 'God Is Dead' I think what he meant was that political power would trump decency and good will to men. But I did like the Elton John song when he rolled that trope into song.
Jonathan E 6:49:54 PM
Bob Weir just died yesterday, can you go against this station's anti grateful dead bias and honor him with at least one song?
Tim (host) 6:50:39 PM
sorry i dont have any gratfil dead with me -- next time im on i def will play some
Lester Wiggs 6:51:02 PM

Lester Wiggs 6:51:26 PM

Rob from Maryland 🦀 6:52:26 PM
Tim, are you going to be here until 9? I'm asking because Jen Redlights has a playlist set up for 5 to 8 pm. Assuming that is California time, it looks like she is going to start her show at 8 pm???
Lester Wiggs 6:53:10 PM
She could be hanging round the steel mill Working in a house of blue lights Riding a getaway bus out of Portland Talking to the night
Jonathan E 6:53:24 PM
Thanks, I guess. John woulda done it

Lol thanks Tim
Lester Wiggs 7:05:17 PM
Let R = { x | x ∉ x } ("the set of all sets that do not contain themselves")Now ask the deadly little question:Does R ∈ R ?If yes → then by definition of R we must have R ∉ R → contradiction If no → then R satisfies the membership condition → R ∈ R → contradiction So the very act of trying to define "the set of everything that isn't a member of itself" instantly devours its own possibility.nothing is empty because the moment you sincerely try to point at pure emptiness lol
Lester Wiggs 7:07:20 PM
were so fucked

Don't forget to carry the 1.
Lester Wiggs 7:31:05 PM
Its important to hold the money printer close.
sean burns 7:36:41 PM
I can't help but think that playing Rosemary one of the dead's most obscure and weird tunes that Bob has nothing to do with isn't a backhanded compliment...
Tim (host) 7:38:25 PM
knahh- i just dont have any dead -- im sure john can bring some next week - i jsut really like that song and it fits --
Tim (host) 7:39:05 PM
id like to play his solo albim - maybe next time i will
Tim (host) 7:41:07 PM

sean burns 7:41:09 PM
When I was 15 or so my best buddy and me would listen to his older brothers Kingston trio records and I still think they are some good stuff.
Tim (host) 7:41:25 PM
yeah they have stuff that holds up
sean burns 7:42:12 PM
Mta, Tom dooley, I think they had the first popular version of where have all the flowers gone... They might have been the Monkees of folk music and we're disparaged by a lot of purists but they have their appeal
Tim (host) 7:42:27 PM
agreed
sean burns 7:42:48 PM
It's always good to see you back Tim wish you had a regular show again just caught you a few days ago sobbing for someone
sean burns 7:43:02 PM
I hope you weren't too broken up no I meant subbing
Tim (host) 7:44:21 PM

Tim (host) 7:44:38 PM
i should have a regular show next summer
sean burns 7:45:05 PM
I had n't realized that Bob Weir had passed away when I was listening to prb the day he died. The DJ played a Grateful Dead song and I said "what are you doing playing The Grateful Dead I thought only John weingart was allowed to play them" and then found out he had died
sean burns 7:45:41 PM
That's good that summer shows are the best I have my stereo out on the back deck next to my recliner by the pool
sean burns 7:45:53 PM
You made my summer in the past
Tim (host) 7:46:03 PM

sean burns 7:46:37 PM
2:00 p.m. would be good, I get some hot temperature Sun there and then it moves behind the trees around 3:30 to cool me off
sean burns 7:47:26 PM
Do you know your hours yet
Tim (host) 7:48:08 PM
nope - i have to apply in the spring -- so will see how it goes -
Rob from Maryland 🦀 7:49:28 PM
@Lester, just saw your question about the Anacostia/Anachronistic River from 6:22. I'm not that close, it is a c. half-hour drive from our house, to the east. There is some good birding along the river, so I am there a fair amount. Have you been there? I forget, are you a birder?
sean burns 7:49:50 PM
Usually do a few grillers from the Amish meat market at Columbus
Tim (host) 7:51:33 PM
@sean that is living --- really have had it with winter already - cant wait for the sun
sean burns 7:51:57 PM
Summer goes too quickly and last summer sucked
sean burns 7:52:42 PM
This could be songwriting wise weir's best. Original with Jerry's pedal steel.
Alan Parsec 7:52:52 PM
