I saw a bald eagle while I ate my Dunkin in a parking lot in Bucks County last week LOL. It was getting chased by 2 ravens or crows. It was so epic!!

thank you, Matt! I try to get inspiration from anything and everything. I looked at the Rolling Stone one last week (hence the Deftones) and before that I did some Weedian top songs and Decibel Magazine's top albums. They listed a lot of goodies.

That used to be the place for metal news -- magazines! I used to read Rip magazine fairly regularly. Southern California, I think.

Oh! Is Rip still around? I don't recall that mag.

The whole black metal scene in Scandinavia had a strong, very strong, written component -- the fanzines that helped the genre grow.

Going back to significance of Bob Weir passing: the guitarist of Black Flag and owner of SST Records, Greg Ginn, is a massive deadhead. It's rather bizarre, but he straddles those two worlds.

I see Bald eagles often in Bucks County (sometimes NJ) BUT still searching for an owl in the wild.

Owls are super shy

Used to be that every evening my motion sensing Floods were coming on for no reason. A Ghost??? Nope later saw that a Great Horned glided by on evenings, silent, stealthy, so cool to see!

I admire birds of prey so much. Such focused and quiet and efficient assassins.
