There's nothing physical to be mended, but I'm personally coming to terms that some things can't be fixed past a certain point despite one's best efforts. But it's better to make some effort than to just dispose of things. The serenity prayer just becomes more relevant as life goes on, I suppose.

that is so true. I keep the prayer with me and say it often. I don't think we are ever finished mending and repairing. And some things are difficult to truly fix. hang in there.
