Actually the gmail account I use for this account is Scrotatorcuff. I had just had rotator cuff surgery when I opened it and had to come up with a name. So I just stuck the the letters SC in front of rotator cuff. Just amusing myself I actually thought that name would show up in the chat, but Gjax does so I kept that there.

well, it's a good name, Liz. It's not a bad one to have stuck. Like I know a 50 year-old guy who still is known as Dingleberry. It all started with my band I had in high school and we used to practice in my basement and this kid from across the street who was a couple years younger was always hanging around and one of the guys the band says what's the deal with that kid always hang around he's like a dingleberry. It's stuck. He is still dingleberry 40 years later.

But quite literally, when that album came out in the early 2000s I was at WPRB and it charted here, and when we submitted our charting tracks to CMJ, as we did back in the day, that one didn't get recorded in their charts because that semi-colon messed with the system! But then again, !!! managed to get fairly big, so...

That Work and Nonwork release came out in '97 when I was driving back and forth a lot between college and my parents' house on weekends and breaks, and I played that CD in the car so much at that time, it immediately evokes those drives for me

There are a lot of traders passing around ExTC shows. The band sounds fabulous. Hard to tell the difference, however, as old men, (like me), there are a few clams from time to time.

"Cheap Songs Tell the Truth" ... how too true! For me, one of the worst components of getting your heart broken is, the lyrics of all manner of poorly written, throw-off pop music ditties suddenly seem powerfully profound ... :-((

Sadly missed all the great in store PF appearances. But heard about them afterwards from WKDU DJ's.

I have friends that have a Beatles cover band with all the original (very expensive) instruments and board sounds. They are of course brilliant in their quest, and perfected it for many, many years.

Andy wrote so many perfect pop songs, you certainly can't argue with that. Colin's songs are deep, dark, and delicious.

@Ross Colin may have had the big XTC with hits, like Generals and Majors. but Andy was the heart and soul.
